HUMANS!

The other day I was able to start my very first IV on a HUMAN! Thank you Holly for being my first victim! It was a lot different doing it on a person than an IV arm. You actually had to find a vein and not just stick it in where all the track marks are. Days like this make nursing FUN!

One of my nursing instructors talked to us about next semester. He started off by showing us the following video...

Comforting, right?? Yeah, pretty much he told us we were going to die.

the WEEKEND!

I love weekends but who doesn't?? This past weekend was fun! I was able to spend time with some of my favorite people. Good thing they are some of my favorite people because I am with them all the time and will be for the next few semesters. Yay for NURSING STUDENTS!!

We all made a delicious dinner and then went to Savior of the World together. It was a wonderful performance about our Savior's birth and resurrection.

Saturday I was able to hang out with a few of the wonder ladies pictured above. We baked and it was great! Then I went to the Best Of show with an old friend from when I lived in Utah. She is so fun to be with and I am glad that we have gotten together a lot in the past couple weeks. The show was way good. There are a lot of talented people that go to school here!

It's crazy that the semester is almost over. [13 days until I get to go home! but who is counting??] I have my last clinical of the semester tomorrow. Classes are finally starting to wrap up. It has been a great semester but it is about time to start another one.

it matters how you're going to finish

I love my Book of Mormon class because my teacher always shows us little youtube videos that are amazing. This is the one that he showed us today:

Isn't that great?? Sometimes we are going to feel like we don't have the strength to get back up. Never give up. The Lord will give us the strength that we need to get up if we turn to Him.

why???

As you can see I gave in and became a blogger. Partly because my friend convinced me but mostly because I am putting off my homework and the 100 other things that I should be doing right now. I am not sure how I feel about this yet.

To all three of my friends and to my mother who might stumble upon this:

1. I am not promising that I am going to be good at updating this thing.

2. I am no where near creative so you probably won't even want to read this anyway.

3. I don't really know a third thing but every good list should at least have three things on it.

Life is good. Actually life is great! Why? Because there are only 17 more days until I get to go home for a week!!! (Yes, I made a paper chain today.)
